Geoff Cramer founded Futures to help people find their dream jobs and to help counter the workforce crisis. He has spent over 12 years consulting on workforce economics and talent supply chain solutions. After earning a degree in economics from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and an MBA from Duke University, he served as a corporate business consultant, social entrepreneur in many arenas serving the community, and was a regular guest speaker at business schools on entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and holistic business models. Geoff has also received the Fuqua School of Business Alumni Leadership Award. As a predecessor to Futures, he launched the non-profit Futures for Kids that won numerous awards for innovation and was unanimously endorsed by State Board of Education as a career exploration tool for all North Carolina schools.
Dr. Jeff Pon comes to Futures Inc. with over 20 years of experience in leading organizations and transforming talent management in the private and public sectors. Dr. Pon has co-authored and developed national Human Resource standards with the Corporate Leadership Council, the National Academy of Public Administration, and Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Principal at Booz Allen, Dr. Pon served as a strategic human capital management consultant in support of United States Federal Government clients. In January, 2006 Dr. Pon was reappointed to the Senior Executive Service as the Chief Human Capital Officer for the U.S. Department of Energy. At the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Dr. Pon led a team to stand up the government wide job site USAJobs.com in 2003.
Dr. Pon earned his Doctorate in Philosophy from the California School of Professional Psychology in 1997. He also has a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. His undergraduate degree is in Psychology and Human Factors from the University of Southern California.
Paul Dordal is the Senior Vice President for Military Programs for Futures Inc. His role is to manage Futures Inc.'s military and Veterans programs. A 1971 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Paul served 29 years on active duty with the Air Force and retired in 2000 as a Brigadier General. Prior to joining Futures Inc, Paul was the Executive Director for the BRAC Regional Task Force. Paul was also the president of NavTech, LLC, a technology innovation company which received the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) national Commander's award for the DAV Small Business of the Year for 2010.
Paul was appointed by Governor Perdue to the North Carolina Advisory Commission on Military Affairs. He was previously the president of the Pope Chapter of the Air Force Association and on the Board of Directors for the Association of Defense Communities. He is on the Board of the North Carolina Defense Business Association, and he is a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Joe is the Vice President for Client Services & Delivery is a member of the Futures senior leadership team with overall responsibility for the delivery of all of Future's business in the commercial, military, civil government, education, and association markets.
He has over 20 years of progressive human resources and talent management experience in the US federal government, international public sector, and private sector consulting. Prior to joining Futures, Joe led a segment of Booz Allen Hamilton's Human Capital practice, managed global workforce planning and performance management programs and HR systems for the World Bank's International Finance Corporation, and served as a Senior Human Resources Program Manager at the US Department of Education and US Department of Health and Human Services. Joe received his M.P.A. in Public Administration from the American University and B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University.
Dennis Wise believes that Futures Inc. has a unique opportunity to leverage their work from the past eight years to provide the ultimate platform to assist our heroes to transition from the battlefield to the civilian workforce. He brings a long career of sales and management excellence and experience to his position at Futures Inc. Focused on driving sales, Dennis is committed to building a world class organization that can scale as we record wins both internally and externally. His experience in rapid growth companies will serve Futures well as we consistently develop new partnerships, contracts and clients. Dennis received his M.A. in Public Relations Management from the Newhouse School of Communication at Syracuse University and his B.A. in Mass Communications from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
Harold Willis is the Senior Director of Operations for Futures Inc. His role is to manage the performance of Futures Inc.'s client delivery teams, which includes the launch of the US Veterans Pipeline and the 100,000 Jobs Mission portal focused on connecting every Veteran in the country with the best possible job available. Futures Inc. is working with federal and state governments, corporations, not for profits and other groups to implement this program as the national platform for Veterans.
Prior to joining Futures Inc, Harold spent 10 years as a Management Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and over 15 years as an entrepreneur and small business owner. Harold holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Bob Buchko joined the Futures team in 2008 as a technical writer and has grown with the company, moving to a quality assurance management role before gaining his current position. As the Director of Client Delivery, Bob manages Pipeline training, customer support and usability testing of the software. He also works closely with military and civilian users to gather software requirements for Pipeline. Bob loves working at Futures because of the chance to truly make a difference in people's lives.
Previously, Bob worked in web design, usability testing, technical communication and training for IBM, Lenovo and Parata Systems. He has also taught technical communication classes part-time at N.C. State for over ten years. Bob graduated with a B.S. in Technical Writing and my M.A. in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Technical and Professional Discourse at East Carolina University.
Scott Coleman has more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive in high-technology companies. Prior to joining Futures, Inc. in 2011 he served as President and CTO of IdealHire, Inc. for 4 years. He established the military strategy and directed the development of the platform technology, business relationships and marketing efforts for that market segment. Mr. Coleman holds software technology patents related to military skills translation and automatically connecting veterans with civilian opportunities.
Prior to IdealHire he served as the chief technologist for several software companies for more than 15 years. Mr. Coleman has held senior management roles in R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service as well as General Manager of the European Sales and Service subsidiary of a publicly-held software company. Mr. Coleman holds graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has also gained extensive business training from Emory University and Stanford University.
Tom Harris is the Chief Software Architect for Pipeline and joined Futures in 2008 after four years at Trebax Software. He believes Futures is a fun environment and enjoys working on something that can be used to help people improve their career prospects. Tom's chief contribution is his unique ability to satisfy business needs with scalable technical features. He received his B.S. in Computer Science in 2005 from Appalachian State.
Adam Jarvis is the Senior Applications Designer for Pipeline and applies his expertise in visual design, usability, web development, and the Adobe Creative Suite to create very simple, user-friendly task flows and designs. Adam enjoys working at Futures because of the freedom to try new ideas. Futures Inc. is an open-minded company that encourages and thrives on new ideas and new ways to accomplish our goals.
Since joining Futures in March of 2008, Adam has worked on projects ranging from product development to marketing collateral design. He graduated from Murray State University in 2008 with a degree in Advertising and Marketing.
Alysse Miller joined Futures Inc. as the Visual Media Producer after graduating with a BA in Cinema from Elon University in 2009, where she was an Engineer for Elon Television. She loves creating videos for Futures Inc. because she gets to meet inspiring people, tell their stories and help further their careers and lives through Pipeline. Alysse brings a strong work ethic and visual eye to Pipeline, and helps attach real faces and stories to our software. She looks forward to continually growing her skills with the Futures team.
